And it's been another while. Summer of 'Tine.

Yes, it's the summer of 'Tine: Sun, Fun, Men, Friends, Food & Wine. Can it get any better?

Maybe, if I won the lottery, lol.

Been hitting up patio's all over town. Did a wee radio spot. Went to a couple BBQ's at friend's places. Invested in a new alternative wardrobe. Americano's on my balcony. Good dates, bad dates, weird dates. Cottaging, Beaches, wine with the gals, wine with the fam, gymning, working, training, working, and writing. Meeting new people in random places. Catching up with old friends. It's been a fabulous summer.

Still, I guess perhaps that's no excuse for lagging in my blog posts, but I'll use it anyway!

Now there's a rage about Girl Talk, which I don't get. Reminds me of the old boardgame. But apparently they're a mash-up band. I dig mash-up bands, but they're getting old. It's all about Dub Step now.

I find it hilarious how only now Dub is catching the wave above ground. It's been an underground deal for at LEAST 10 years. My buddy Dubian had been traveling around, spinning his Dub since I met him 9 years ago and it was so severely underground that he was tranveling all across North America and even South America if I remember right. Back then I wondered what the big deal about it was.

Now I finally get it.

I, like everyone else, finally got it.

I wonder if people in Europe are smarter. I mean, it takes so much longer for us Westerners to 'get' new music.
